Name and city/town you live in?Lindsey & Meghan, we are a sister team and both live in Calgary.
What you sell and why?
We sell hair clips and bags. We sell the bags because they were originally made for the pregnancy care center, and we make hair clips because we both have little girls and love dressing them up!
When and how you got started?
We started making bags to donate to the pregnancy care center and then decided to sell them as well. No idea how we started making hair clips. It's just something that just sort of happened.
How did you decide on your shop name?The name Footprint Designs was taken from the Footprints poem which is on our etsy profile. Also the bags were first used as diaper bags so we always thought of little baby footprints.
Is there an item in your shop you enjoyed making the most and why?
We enjoy making all of our creations. After each is completed we always feel a sense of accomplishment. I always think to myself, "Wow I made that!"
What’s your favourite part of the selling experience?
We love when someone finds that perfect something that we have made. It makes us happy that people are enjoying what we are creating.

Meghan - Works for an oil and gas company
Are there other crafts you’d like to try?
We would like to try making neck ties (because my son feels left our that the girls get so much hair clips!) and clutch purses.
Any “little known facts” about yourself you’d like to share (anything!)?
Lindsey - Wife and mother of 2 great kids, ages 2 and 5, play piano in church band, love to read, love going to all the Christmas markets.
Meghan - mother of 1 beautiful girl, age 2, has a good eye for matching material and a good fashion sense.
