Although I like to cook on most days, especially if there is someone going to be there to enjoy it with me, I also have many days that I am home alone or have been busy creating all day. Those days it is nice to have something prepped so I can just throw it in the crock pot or have some of the prep work done, so making a healthy meal is easier than starting from scratch.

One Good Thing has a great list of
31 things that you can freeze to save both time & money. I especially like the idea of keeping some frozen fruit ready for smoothies and freezing cookie dough.
Pam from
Over the Big Moon shares a collection of
super chicken freezer meals - pick up some bulk chicken wherever you get groceries and prep these ahead of time and pop in the freezer. Just take them out and put in the crock pot when you have a busy day ahead of you and enjoy a yummy meal without a lot of fuss.
What do you do to make extra time for creating?
